Slide Scanning - Photos to DVD prices
For most purposes the 1000 DPI resolution is all you would need. Some companies scan at less than this for photos on DVD but this is the minimum we do for quality sake.
If you wanted 40 slides with a slideshow on CD for your computer from the below table you get -
$20 (setup) + 40 x 0.40 (slide price) + $10 (DVD) = $46

A Slide = a hard mount colour slide - not warped!
A Negative (1st row) is a negative in a roll ( ie 24 or 36 frames)
A Negative (2nd row) is a negative in a strip (5-6 frames)
Slideshow = a simple fade in / fade out that will play on your computer.
DVD = A fully featured DVD that will play in most standard DVD players, interactive menu (animated), timed & choice of transitions, backgrounds etc.
